This fast growing city, lying
east of Vancouver on Highway 99A, is a prosperous the industrial,
commercial and residential area.

Museum and Archives: Located in the oldest remaining log cabin in Surrey,
the museum and archives are located at 6050-176th Street in Cloverdale.
Historic
Stewart Farmhouse and Hooser Weaving Centre:
This Victoria style farmhouse (1894) built by the Stewart family who lived
here and farmed for six decades is at 13723 Crescent Road in South Surrey.
Operated by the Hooser Weaving Centre you're invited to see the displays
of spinning and weaving.
Richmond:
Richmond is comprised of a number of islands between the north and south
arms of the Fraser River. Access is via the Massey Tunnel (Highway 99)
to the south,the Arthur Laing, Oak Street and Knight Street bridges to
the north and Highway 91 to the east. The city of Richmond is B.C.'s third
largest accommodation base with over 2,200
hotel rooms and a modern 250-unit RV park and campground.

International Airport:
Vancouver's airport facilities and runway are located on Sea Island.
Steveston:
Located in the southwest corner of Richmond is Steveston where you will
find beautiful heritage buildings, museums, galleries, restaurants, craft
and antique shops. Turn off Highway 99 and go west on Steveston Highway
until No.1 Road and the turn Left and go south until you reach the mouth
of the Fraser River.
