Report: Caverhill Lake provides a fast action Rainbow
fishery with trout reaching into the 2 lb. range. Due to its lack
of abundant aquatic insect life, the most popular method of fishing
is trolling small lures, flatfish and spinning gear. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com
for angling information!
Lake - Akehurst is a large lake, situated just west
of Caverhill. It has 1 resort offering cabins, boats and prepared
meals. Many smaller hike-in lakes such as Bramon, Malcolm, Patrick,
and Triangle, just to mention a few can be found nearby to Caverhill.
Excellent choices from which to tune-up your fly fishing techniques.
These lakes offer fine, fast action, small Rainbow fishing and
can be accessed via the Caverhill Lake Resort. See also Bare Lake
and Gorman Lake.
Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start
