Location: Staubert Lake is northeast of the Galena Bay Ferry on Highway 31. A campground with limited facilities and a cartop boat launch are provided.

Fishing Report: Avid anglers try their luck for rainbow trout using either fly fishing or deep trolling methods. Staubert Lake also supports a fair population of both Dolly Varden and brook trout.

Nearby Lakes

Bear Lake - Bear Lake is a small hike-in lake to the west of Catherine. Access is via a short road just south of the Catherine Lake turn-off then an easy hike of approximately 4 km (2.5 mi). Rainbow trout are resident in the lake.
