The word Sasquatch is a derivative of the Coast Salish Indian word Sesquac, a mythical, or natural being that posesses a spirit that is better left alone.

 


LOCATION

The park is located north of Harrison Hot Springs bordering on Harrison Lake.


PARK FACILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Sasq1.JpgCamping - There are over 175 tent sites available is three seperate campgrounds. A sani-station is provided.

Fishing and Boating - Boat launching ramps are located on Harrison, Hicks and Deer Lakes which are popular with anglers.

Hiking and Trails - Hiking trails lead to the parks vantage points and notable features. Guided walks are available during the summer months.
