Location: Located north of the town of Burns Lake, Pinkut can be found by taking the Babine Lake Road north off Hwy. #16. Follow this road for approximately 25 km. (15.5 mi.) to the lake.

Size 574.7 ha. (1419.5 ac.) Shoal 229.5 ha. (566.9 ft.)
Mean Depth 10.4 m. (34.1 ft.) Max. Depth 31.7 m. (104 ft.)
Game Fish Rainbow Trout, Lake Char Fish Stocked None
Angler Usage Low Elevation 930 m. (3050 ft.)
Ice Over November to Late April T.D.S. 64 mg/L.

Resorts & Campsites: A 10 vehicle, semi-open Provincial Park campsite with a boat launch and swimming beach is located on the south end of the lake.

Fishing Report: Pinkut supports both a Rainbow and Lake Char fishery featuring bows reaching up into the 3-1/2 lb. range and Lake Char that have been reportedly caught up to the 20+ lbs.

Nearby Lakes

Division Lake - Division is a small lake of 23.6 ha. (58.3 ac.) located just south of Pinkut. Rainbows are reported to reach 3+ lbs. and are taken on the fly as well as trolling with various lures.
