Marigold Resort is a friendly family vacation spot situated on six acres of lakeside land on Loon Lake, British Columbia. This popular family fishing resort offers rental cabins, RV sites and campsites and is only 24km (15mi) from the Highway 97 turnoff, between Cache Creek and Clinton. Loon Lake is 14km (9mi) long and approximately ½ mile wide and located in a beautiful area of British Columbia that combines BC's South Cariboo and Thompson regions - often referred to as the banana belt of the Cariboo. The lake is naturally stocked and BC's famous fighting rainbow trout up to 1 ½ pounds are plentiful. Swimming and boating are also popular activities at Loon Lake. Wildlife viewing in this area is an opportunity to spot moose, beavers, eagles, ospreys and loons in natural British Columbia settings.

Marigold Resort is on a paved road with hydro service, offering vacationers lakeside lodging accommodations in rental cabins, RV sites, campsites and camping facilities.

The small store is well stocked with items you might need for rainbow trout fishing including bait & tackle (as of 2008 all fishing licenses must be purchased online). Boat rentals, including rentals of canoes, row boats, motor boats and pontoon boats, moorage and launching facilities are very handy.
