Here you will find the world of great outdoor experiences and adventures. Fawn Lake Resort is not only the perfect spot for fly fishing and/or trolling for rainbow trout, but also an excellent place for hiking, biking, bird watching, hunting or just plain relaxing. Every year the lake is stocked with fighting rainbow trout. Several springs and a creek feed the lake with fresh, clean water. Only electric motors are allowed on the lake.
Locals:
Come and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Cariboo and meet the "locals" such as the deer, the moose, the bald eagles, the loons and sometimes even the bears. This is a bird watcher’s paradise, as countless species make this area home!
Accommodations (that meet your needs):
Fawn Lake Resort offers accommodations for everyone, from a tent site to a beautiful modern log cabin/cottage. For those who want to get back to the basics, they have cosy "rustic" log cabins, that include an icebox and wood cooking stove, but no running water or built-in bathroom. Bring your own bedding, linens, and fishing rod. If you would rather leave everything at home, bedding etc. is available for a small fee. The "modern" log cabins offer everything to make you feel right at home. Bedding and linens are included. The master bedroom has a queen size bed.
For the people who camp in self-contained units, Fawn Lake Resort has a sani-dump. There are serviced and non-serviced lakeshore and treed RV and tent sites.
For Your Fun and Convenience:
For your enjoyment, every site or cabin has a fire-pit and a picnic table. Each cabin also features a gas barbecue and lawn chairs. So you can sit back, relax and enjoy the wilderness right from your porch! For your convenience, there is a central washroom that includes flush toilets, hot showers and laundry facilities.
Happiness is:
A covered picnic area, a child's playground, a beach area, boat launch,
rental canoes and boats, a fish-cleaning station and a smokehouse. The store
has live bait, licences, tackle, souvenirs and much more.
Winter: Ice-fishing, cross country skiing, or snowmobile.
