About 1,300,000 acres of splendid wilderness parkland start at the door of Wells Gray Gateway Guesthouse. Wells Gray is British Columbia's fourth largest park. It has been nicknamed "Canada's Waterfalls Park" for its many magnificent waterfalls including Helmcken Falls, Canada's fourth highest.

Wells Gray Park is also famous for its extraordinary volcanic formations including cinder cones, vast lava flows and basalt cliffs.
